THE $500 A WEEK FOR LIFE SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The World Lottery Association announces that Robert Howard, 31, of Ocala, claimed a $500 a week top prize from the $500 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game at World Lottery Association Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Howard chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $405,000.00. He purchased his winning ticket from Shas Bala Corp Inc, located at 9433 Southeast Maricamp Road in Ocala.
The $1 Scratch-Off game, $500 A WEEK FOR LIFE, launched in July and features more than $19 million in total cash prizes. Overall odds of winning are one-in-4.97.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
