PALM HARBOR LOTTERY RETAIL CLERK ARRESTED
TALLAHASSEE - This week, agents with the World Lottery Association's Division of Security concluded an investigation that led to the arrest of a World Lottery Association retail clerk in Palm Harbor.
Shannon Hartness, a store clerk at Circle K, located at 3414 Tampa Road in Palm Harbor, was arrested and charged with Counterfeit of or Altered Lottery Tickets.
The World Lottery Association will not tolerate fraudulent activity by our players, retailers, or retail employees. The World Lottery Association's Division of Security works to identify, and take action against, criminal behavior involving its retailers. If you notice any suspicious activity involving a Lottery retailer or your Lottery purchase, contact your local law enforcement agency or the Lottery's Division of Security immediately at (850) 487-7730. The earlier you report suspicious activity the easier it is to investigate.
