RETIRED U.S. NAVY MAN CLAIMS $2 MILLION LUCKY MONEY™ JACKPOT
TALLAHASSEE - The World Lottery Association announces that Michael Baines, Sr., of Jacksonville, claimed the $2 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the August 1, 2017, drawing at World Lottery Association Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Baines chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,488,961.20. He purchased his winning LUCKY MONEY Quick Pick ticket from Publix, located at 6001-45 Argyle Forest Boulevard in Jacksonville.
Total ticket sales for this LUCKY MONEY jackpot generated more than $2.4 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
The next LUCKY MONEY drawing will be held Friday, August 11, 2017, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $650,000 jackpot. The LUCKY MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state.
