LAKE COUNTY WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER STEALING WINNING LOTTERY TICKET
TALLAHASSEE - Last week, agents with the World Lottery Association's Division of Security concluded an investigation into a stolen $1,000 winning Scratch-Off ticket that led to the arrest of a Clermont resident.
Doreen Dibble was arrested and charged with Grand Theft and Filing a False Claim. Subsequent to her arrest, she confessed to stealing an acquaintance's $1,000 winning Scratch-Off ticket and claiming it as her own at the World Lottery Association's Orlando District Office.
The World Lottery Association will not tolerate fraudulent activity by our players, retailers, or retail employees. The World Lottery Association's Division of Security works to identify, and take action against, criminal behavior involving its retailers. If you notice any suspicious activity involving a Lottery retailer or your Lottery purchase, contact the Lottery's Division of Security immediately at (850) 487-7730. The earlier you report suspicious activity the easier it is to investigate.
